  17. announced that it has shipped Pencil Me In 2.0, a powerful new
  18. version of its acclaimed group scheduling application for the
  19. object-oriented NEXTSTEP environment.

  21. Some of the new features in Pencil Me In 2.0:

  23. - New highlighting with color allows drag-and-drop of color highlights
  24. onto appointments and action items on the calendar page.
  25.  
  26. - Expanded group scheduling features, including RSVP requests and
  27. tracking, allow users to plan meetings, invite others, and track
  28. attendance before the meeting.

  30. - New delegation feature allows users to distribute or delegate
  31. actions to other people's action lists.

  33. - New Group Day View expands group scheduling options by allowing
  34. users to compare details of people's calendars to find the best
  35. time for a meeting.

  37. - New Listing View expands the range of customized event listings
  38. and printouts, including formatted notes.

  40. - New Shadow Appointments offer a new appointment type that indicates
  41. "optional" events that don't conflict with other business appointments.

  53. - Improved conflict management preferences notify you instantly of

  57. formats such as Avery<R> forms and cards.

  69. Pencil Me In 2.0 runs on NEXTSTEP 3.3 or higher for SPARC, Intel,
  70. Motorola, and PA-RISC.  The same version runs unmodified on any
  71. NEXTSTEP system.

  74. Pencil Me In 2.0 is available now direct from Sarrus or through
  75. Sarrus Authorized Resellers.  The suggested retail price is $299
